Balls are notorious for rolling with ease. Lol. Okay, pretty silly. Moving balls, I guess that is why they are so well utilized in a zillion areas of our lives, but… Sometimes we want the ball but not the rolling around.
A yarn bowl is made FOR yarn. It is a bowl that holds your yarn as you knit or crochet so it doesn’t roll all over the floor and down the hall. Such rascals, balls.
I made this one today. The yarn is threaded through the cut in the side and it unravels, the ball staying within the bowl.
