It was another great day for the Pottery club. The hours are a bit like watching fireworks in action. The children arrive in small groups and chatter as they work on their projects. Today it was a variation on a coil pot. Snakes eating snakes around a bowl and the adding some snails for decoration. The kids were impressive in how quickly they learned the technique.
I am thrilled with their results!
I doled out a lot of clay, nodded a lot of encouragement and guided the new children into some fantastic pots….
But! I forgot to take photos of the beehive in full buzz! Maybe next week I will remember.
It’s a great group of children and a wonderful way to spend a Tuesday afternoon.
