It’s something new! Hand painted art work on 2 clay slab slump plates!
I am offering your children something new in this workshop. We will paint pictures with underglazes on plates that have been rolled, stretched and pressed into paper plate slump molds.
Our inspiration will come from a classic: The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Here is the schedule of fun: We will read and examine the book for inspiration.
15.1 Day 1: Roll out and shape two clay slabs. Prepare for transfer.
22.1 Day 2: Design drawings for surface decoration. Transfer and shape into bowl.
Skip one week.
5.2 Day 3: Make a hungry caterpillar and a leaf.
12.2 Day 4: We will underglaze everything we have made.
Projects will be ready for pick up at school 3 weeks after workshop.
